Our team is working to identify the exact causes of injuries, and physical assessment plays a crucial role in this process. By utilizing evidence-based treatment protocols, we strive to provide effective and targeted interventions that address the root causes of the injuries.

Question 2: How do you track the progress of boxers and measure the effectiveness of your interventions as the Head Physiotherapist?

It is a weekly check-up program for players that is designed to support them in their progress by focusing on the musculoskeletal system and enhancing strength, flexibility, and mobility of the body.

Question 3: How do you stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in sports physiotherapy?

I regularly participate in reading reputable research articles and attending world-level webinars to remain up to date on the most recent advancements in the field of sports physiotherapy. Through this ongoing interaction, I am kept up to date on the most recent developments and advances in the industry.

Question 4: What motivates you to work with elite athletes like Sahil Silwal, and what do you find most rewarding about your role as a personal physiotherapist?

As a personal physiotherapist to elite athletes, I always strive to boost the player’s mindset and confidence to enhance performance in the game, while diligently working on their weak points. I provide a strong foundation for their general development and success in their athletic activities by fostering their mental toughness and focusing on areas that need improvement.

Question 5: What are some common injuries or physical challenges that Sahil Silwal faces as a javelin thrower, and how do you address or prevent them?

Shoulder injuries frequently occur due to a weakened gluteus and tightness in the rotator cuff muscles, leading to increased vulnerability. We are working on rehabilitating the rotator cuff while strengthening the gluteus muscles to address these concerns and prevent injuries. Implementing a weekly checkup program is of utmost importance for players.

Sachin Narwal achieved Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science in Hisar. His first significant experience was at Jindal Insitute of Medical Science, Hisar, where he passionately treated a renowned international boxer, Vikas Krishan Yadav, for a rotator cuff injury. This opportunity allowed him to learn and grow, enhancing my skills and knowledge in the field.
Sachin formerly served at the Goyat Boxing Club in Bhiwani for six months. In addition to it, the time he spent at Soni Orthopaedic Hospital in Hisar also allowed him to gather valuable experience. As an intern, I carefully watched and studied the medical procedures at Gurgaon’s Park Multi-speciality Hospital.
He is currently working with Sahil Silwal, an international javelin thrower. By participating in his sports endeavors, he gets the opportunity to advance his professional knowledge and abilities. Overall, Sachin Narwal is quite enthusiastic about further growth and development in the field.
